The Tight-in-Pipe technique

Short pipe TIP

Pipe lining from manhole to manhole using the Tight in Pipe technique

= Short pipe TIP technique with GRUNDOBURST 400 S and Burstfix.

 Long pipe TIP

Long pipe TIP technique with GRUNDOBURST 400 S and Burstform.

By using the new Tight-In-Pipe method (TIP) new pipes are installed trenchlessly from manhole to manhole, from manhole to pit ot from pit to pit tightly adjacent to the old pipe wall. As the outer diameter of the new pipe is only slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the old pipe, there is no need to fill the annulus, which is often required for standard relining. The cross-section deficiency is minimal and the trenchless connection of house service lines is possible.

Advantage

During pipe installation deformations up to 20% of the pipes’s cross section and misalignments are evened out plus the pipe's circular profile is reinstored.

NEW: Alternatively to the trenchless connection, service lines can be installed from out of existing standard manholes ND 1000 in a new path (e. g. mini bore rig GRUNDOPIT S).
