The GRUNDODRILL 7 Xplus TD has the unique feature of a mixing system on board (patentent pending). The fresh water is fed into a 60 l tank via a hydrant, where a valve ensures the correct water grade. If the valve is opened then a defined amount of water flows into a buffer tank. At the same time, depending on the soil type, a dosed supply of bentonite is mixed into the water through a funnel. An electronic regulator gives a constant bentonite consistency. The funnel is filled from large bags with the daily or weekly requirement. The drilling fluid enters a multi-chamber system, where it is processed, free of lumps and later fed to the drilling accessory.
Due to its small construction with the mixing system on board Grundodrill 7X requires only one third of the space compared to a standard HDD rig. Thus the innercity application, e. g. in narrow steets, pedestrian areas and small front gardens is possible without any difficulty.
