GRUNDOBURST 2500 G

A new dimension of static pipe bursting

The Grundoburst 2500 G sets new standards in trenchless pipe renewal. The machine develops a maximum pullback of 2500 kN (250 t). Due to this enormous pulling force, old pipes from ND 300 to ND 1000 can be replaced for the first time with the the pipe bursting technique.   The work flow respectively the functioning is identical to the the little 'brothers' 400 G, 800 G and 1250 G. The bursting operation is controlled from outside the pit via remote control. The Grundoburst rig is aligned against the pit wall laterally and at the back with adjustable stabilisors, fixing the rig safely even with maximum pulling strain. With a rod weight of 210 kg, the simple and proven patented QuickLock rod connection simplifies the assembly enormously. The bursting rods are lowered and taken out with a special lifting device.
