Quality features:
Casing
The bearing surface of the piston in the solid casing block is hard chrome plated to minimise surface abrasion and increase corrosion protection.
Piston
The extremely strained piston is hardened elaborately. This special heat treatment optimises all material properties and guarantees maximum stabilisation. Electro-galvanising is one further tempering step for improved corrosion protection. Several broad sliding belts, which avoid the strong wear caused by metal-upon-metal friction, bear the heavy piston and allow it to move freely. Sealing rings minimise the air consumption and increase the capacity thus leading to higher efficiency. Control
Like the piston, the robust control stud is also electro-plated for improved corrosion protection. One further feature of the mini ramming machines is the reverse gear for easy removal from the pipe.
