GRUNDODRILL 10 XP / 15 XP

With their requests and suggestions our customers made a major contribution to the development of the new XP series. The result are two comparatively silent, easy to operate yet powerful HDD systems 
 

This is achieved , among other features, by the drive engine's self-regulatring power control for optimal thrust and rotation plus the automtically adjusted drilling fluid pressure 
 

The percussive hammer, which is a unique feature of all Grundodrill rigs, enables application even in stony soils. With up to 1.500 strokes/min. even weathered rock can be penetrated. 
 

The Grundodrill XP is assisted by a drilling fluid mixing unit type MA 010 which is available with one or optionally two 4.000 l tanks. The MA 010 is driven by a 11 kW Hatz Diesel engine.

Beside optimzation of the performance the development focussed mainly on the improvement of working and operator safety. With the wireless remote control, for example, the operator can move feely around the bore rig without detaining connection cable. That way safe driving and  shunting operation are guaranteed. The emergency hydraulics enable operation of the machine even in case of a control technique breakdown, e.g. to conclude an ongoing pipe installation process. 
 

The heatbale operator can is swivable at 75° giving the operator perfect all-round view and thus the optical control of the complete boring process. The cabin is equipped with an ergonomically designed operator seat. All machine functions are controlled via two joysticks and indicated via an LCD display. Moreover there is a  telemetry data capture function for  for rapid diagnostic testing and the initiation of immediate counteraction. A data log recods and stores boring data according to the latest technical standards. The pulling forces affecting the new pipe are transferred to the LCD display via wireless transmission and are indicated for the operator. The automated operational sequences are adjusted and regulated  optimally, preserving  the bore rig and extending its service life.
